Insurance Sum Insured Services 

Home Insurance Reinstatement Estimate Reports

 

A full survey of your home with Aotearoa Quantity Surveying calculating your Home Sum Insured, with an insurance approved report (5-6 pages) issued on completion.

 

FEES

 

Base package; full onsite survey covering all assets on the legal plot with report.

 

Dwelling upto 100m2 - $399.00 GST Inclusive

Dwelling 100-150m2 - $499.00 GST Inclusive

Dwelling 150 -220m2 $747.50 GST Inclusive

 

The term dwelling covers house, detached garage, sleep-outs etc.

 

Areas are measured using the external faces of the asset.

 

Additional area in excess of 220 m2, charged at an additional $3.00/m2.

 

The following additional charges also apply:

 

Property within 20km of Base - no additional charge

 

1. Property in excess of 20Km of base - additional charge of $1.00  GST per km, calculated on a round trip basis. Costs will be confirmed prior to consultation for prior agreement.

2. Houses on sloping sites with a slope in excess of 10 degrees, incurs an additional charge of $175.00 to cover the additional time required with external works of these types of properties.

This Service is offered only in Canterbury

Nationwide Sum Insured Check up

 

We now offer a nationwide check up on your default sum insured provided to you by your insurer. 

 

For all properties, NZ wide we can complete an assessment of your property to determine whether your sum insured poses a risk to you, and what further actions we would recommend to protect yourself. 

 

This service is available at a fee of $149.00 GST Inclusive

 

We utilise a variety of checks available to us, and you will be required to complete a very basic form and possible take some internal photographs for us to complete the assessment.

Additional Options with Reports

 

We now offer the following additional options for homeowners when you order a reinstatement report or desktop study:

 

1. Aerial photo of property boundary - extra $10.00

2. Historical aerial photographs of your property. Get a photo of your lot taken in 1950 for example to hang on your wall - please call for year availability. Cost $15 per photo per year.

 

 

Yearly Updates

 

Your estimate can be updated yearly for inflation at a current cost of $47.00 + GST.

 

This only applies for reports issued by us.

 

You will be contacted a few weeks prior to your years anniversary to see if you wish to avial the update service.

 

It is important to keep your asset costs up to date.
